His international experience has led him to help various- sized companies operate and win DOD, DOS and DOJ contracts. Armed with fluent Arabic and educational degrees with focus on facets of Middle Eastern and Central Asian history, politics, business and culture, Mr. Schroeder has a keen understanding of the Arab and Islamic worlds. Using his academic and professional expertise, he has helped domestic businesses establish themselves in these regions. Nabil is a growth driver and a multi-disciplinary global leader with a career built on leveraging strategy, technology and people to transform and scale businesses. He spent twelve years at Western Union, helping it grow to a multi-billion dollar public company working from locations like the U.S., Beirut, Dubai, Paris and Brussels. He has led Omnex, a venture capitalist funded startup which grew through nine acquisitions to become a major player in the fintech industry. Kabbani was CEO of CommerceGate a payment processing company with a differentiated e-commerce offering that dramatically improved conversions and sales while lowering risk. He grew ACT Holdings from a $30MM student loan ARM company to an industry-leading $400MM+ diversified BPO. He later helped scale QLess, a SaaS software wait management company by raising 2 rounds of equity and doubling the company in two years. A U.S. citizen of Lebanese and Russian heritage, Kabbani studied economics and holds an MBA in finance from the American University of Beirut.
